Feeling confident in your horse's
Healthy sound hooves
The Healthy Horse
28 Day Hoof Transformation Challenge
A simple task each day for a month to help you improve your horse's hooves 1 step at a time.
Starts 3rd Jan For Only £19
When you first dip your toe into whole horse hoof care it can seem overwhelming...
You’re bombarded with so much information
It’s hard to see how or if it’s even relevant!
You want to improve your horse’s hooves, health and soundness...
but it can be so hard to figure out where to start!
Let’s take a breath and find some clarity.
1 step at a time
We’ll take a look at your horse and see where we’re starting from.
Nevermind everyone else. What specifically do YOU need to improve for YOUR HORSE.
Once we’re clear on what the problem is, let's look at what might be causing it.
Then we’ll be able to find the best course of action to get the results you want for your horse.
It’s not that any system is wrong or right
It’s about whether they’re right FOR YOU!
For your horse as an individual, your yard’s specific facilities, your herd as a whole and let me say it again…
YOU! You’re the one holding all this together!
Here’s what we focus on:
Week 1 - Hoof
We look at what a healthy hoof is, and you'll learn how to identify any hoof problems your horse may have.
Week 2 - Horse
We'll look up from the hoof and look at all the things the horse's body can tell us
Week 3 - Diet
We're going to simplify the diet, and make it easier for you to understand the best way to meet your horse's needs
Week 4 - Environment
We'll look at the whole environment and how you can use it to strengthen your horse's hooves and improve their overall health
Will you get perfect hooves in just 28 days?
Well... No. It's unlikely every issue will have disappeared in just 1 month.
What we're going to do is take 28 days to identify your problem areas, and create a system that works for you and promotes the improvement your horse needs.

Who is this course for?
This course is for you if:
This course is NOT for you if:
So... How does this work then?
This is a 28 day challenge. There's daily lessons or tasks that will be delivered to you 1 week at a time for 4 weeks.
You'll have lifetime access to all the content, so you can work at your own pace.
Each week will have video lessons, with supporting docs like worksheets, pdfs and further resources.
Access is through this membership site.
There's a live Zoom Q&A session each week on a Sunday evening.
Well, technically it's all done at home, but there are no assignments to complete, or grades given.
Difficulty level ?
This challenge is aimed at horse owners. All the basics will be covered. I try to make everything easy to understand.
We have a weekly Zoom meeting throughout January where you can get your questions answered. After that there will be a monthly Zoom meeting you can attend if you want to.
There's discussions and support in the facebook group, and a comments section below each lesson in the Academy.
I'm not sure if that's morbid or not! Lets not worry about our mortality :)
Lifetime access means for the lifetime of Hoof Geek Academy.
What People Are Saying...
I have a deeper understanding of what is happening with my ponies and how to support them through what has been a tough year. Good to have found sound advice and support as sometimes the vets seem to be a little dated in their solutions. Thank you Debs you've given me hope.
Worth the Investment
So many courses, so little time (and money?). But this one was well worth it. Whether or not you are concerned your horse's laminitis risk is high, this course provides many "aha" insights. It also offered a number of facts I had never heard or read before but which filled in little gaps in my understanding. Debs' approach is straight forward and she is very responsive to questions and specific concerns.
I’d recommend the course to every single horse owner
My number 1 concern was how to keep 17hh of horse from having tummy issues, which caused his feet to flare and lose all semblance of heel and concavity. That pretty much remains my concern, except I now have a better plan.
What happens next?
When you join the challenge you can access the Facebook group immediately. The first weeks materials will be available from 3rd January
There will be weekly Zoom meetings on a Sunday to discuss that weeks lessons. The meetings start on Sunday 9th January and end on Sunday 30th January.
After that you'll have access to The Healthy Horse monthly Zoom meetings on the 4th Weds of every month.
How long do I have access to the lessons?
You get lifetime access. For as long as the Hoof Geek Academy is active, you'll have access.
How can I get a refund?
You can contact us through the contact form or reply to any of our emails to request a refund as long as it's within 30 days of your purchase date.
How much is the challenge?
Right now it's a one time payment of £19. The price may go up in the future but if you've already bought it - you really don't need to worry about that :)
It's very rare that I'd offer a discount. I feel that it's unfair to all the people who have already paid full price.
I hate all that artificial price inflation with discount nonsense, so I set a fair price. That simply doesn't leave room for me to give discounts.
Will there be an exam?!?
Nope! That sounds awful!
There's no assessments, no exams, none of that horrible 'school' stuff. This challenge is to help you understand your horse better. It's to make your life better and less stressful.
How long are the lessons?
It's hard to say as it depends how fast you go through it and how much added research or group discussion you want to do.
I don't think any lesson should take more than 5 minutes or so to watch. I've worked hard to make sure you get all the information you need, while keeping things as simple as possible. I'm going for quality over quantity here. We've all got enough to do in our day and enough to worry about. As with the Hoof Geek blog posts I'm going for clear, simple, informative and fun.
The challenge was designed for you to do a little bit every day, though I'm aware it's equally likely that some people will save everything up to do on a day off. It shouldn't be too overwhelming either way. The term 'challenge' is used lightly here!
Do I need to have a facebook account?
The course content will be in the members area of this website. There are discussion sections for each lesson, so you can use them to interact with other students and tutors. There will be more discussion in the facebook group, but it's not a necessary part of the course
Can I Join Late?
Everyone is welcome :) You'll get access to wherever we're up to at that point. You can power through and catch up, or just do it at your own pace. You won't lose access to the content.
